Combining his extensive field experience and knowledge of regional flora and fauna with innate teaching abilities and a passion for protecting the environment, John Jose, proprietor of Otter Creek Environmental Education Services, provides quality environ-mental education programming for all age groups, pre-K through adults. His passion is engaging others and engendering the same excitement, appreciation and understanding he experiences in realizing the mystery and wonders of the natural world, the interconnectedness of people and their environs, and the need for sustainable use of community natural resources.

John seeks to motivate and empower youth and adults through direct engagement in experiential activities, the imparting of basic ecological principles, and through enhancing their ability to problem solve, in an inquiry-based fashion, to bring about positive change for themselves and their communities. In both field and classroom settings, hands-on, interactive  presentations engage, stimulate and inform participants, young and old.
